Visitors

Lochgelly Golf Club is a challenging 18 hole parkland course in the heart of Fife, and we as a club encourage visitors to come and play our course.

Why not give us a try? And after your round, relax with a hearty meal in our clubhouse restaurant.

Visitor Information

Your Tee Time

Individuals are requested to report to the starter at least 10 minutes before the arranged tee time. Group organisers are requested to report to the starter 30 minutes before the first starting time for their group. Green fees (less any deposit) must be paid to the starter prior to play.

On The Course

Please keep our course in good order by:

  • Raking bunkers (leave rakes in bunkers)
  • Repairing all pitch marks made
  • Replacing divots
  • Observing instructions about movement of trolleys
  • Placing all litter in bins provided on tees

Please avoid slow play – remember your place on the course is immediately behind the group in front NOT immediately in front of the group behind.

Dress Code

We are relaxed about what you wear in our clubhouse and on the course. All we ask is you adhere to our short list on unacceptable items.

The following are examples of unsuitable dress for the clubhouse:

  • Sleeveless ‘vest type’ shirts
  • Track suits
  • Football shirts

On the course we expect golfers to wear ‘smart golf gear’.

Denim jeans, ‘vest type’ tee-shirts and football shirts are not permitted on the course. Shorts are permitted provided they are tailored.
